Description
REGENCY BRASS INLAID CARVED FLAME MAHOGANY SARCOPHAGUS TEA CADDY C1830'S
Quite the statement piece in a unique inlaid design.
Please appreciate that all items are antique/vintage/used and therefore are likely to show varying degrees of age related wear and tear. If you want to ensure 100% pristine condition may I suggest you buy new.
As can be seen from the photos, the caddy is in very good condition overall externally.
It features 2 x brass ring handles and sits on 4 rounded feet.
A working lock and original key are included.
The mixer glass is included as shown and hasunfortunately caused a crack shown at the rest of the central mixing glass holder. The left/right hand lids are held inplace by 4 supporting strips of wood in the corners. The left handcaddy requires 2 of these supports to be reglued as at present the lid can tip at an angle. Again this is also in fair condition.
This is a nice piece that has been very well crafted and quite theeye-catcher.
Measurements are approx:30cm L x 16cm W x 18cm H
