ABOUT THIS ITEM
Description
Rare Antique Dominoes carved from Bone, identified as probably coming from the Napoleonic Wars of around 1820's. These would have been made by French prisoners of war from bones of the food they were given to eat, and sold to visitors, passers by etc, for small amounts of money. A nice little set not complete with 26 pieces, not the full 28. They are quite small, which can be judged by the £1 coin in the photo's, very collectable. Sold with a nice little hard wood box.
