Elliot Type 81 UK Military Aircraft ALTIMETER Altitude Pressure Gauge Used

The instrument features the British Broad Arrow mark beside the reference number, indicating a connection to the Royal Air Force (RAF). It appears to be a comprehensive piece of aircraft instrumentation with a multiplug connection on the rear.

While electrical testing was not possible, a basic function test was performed. Similar to ordinary barometric pressure indicators, placing the instrument inside a sealed plastic bag and applying pressure allows for a check of basic instrument function, which was observed as shown in the short video clip. This may indicate the instrument is working.
