Description
A fantastic antique carved African Horn.From the Tikar people of Cameroon, this elaborately carved buffalo horn would have been used to drink palm wine by the elders and warrior of the tribe.Carved with geometric designs, stars and insects, possibly butterflies.
Really quite a rare piece.
Presented in very good antique condition with some age related wear and several old wire repairs to splits around the rim.
